Guests taste signature recipes prepared by more than 20 of Kokomo’s finest chefs highlighting locally-grown ingredients produced by the small farmers of the Kokomo Downtown Farmers’ Market. Fresh Taste is a uniquely Kokomo experience with tasty libations and live music in the heart of Kokomo at Foster Park. Sample dishes from Lucky Lemon Bakery, Bind Cafe, The Refinery, The Coterie, Choo Choo McGoo's, Oscar’s Pizza and many more.
This year's special guest is local food activist and blogger Candace Boyd Wylie who will be chatting with guests and demonstrating how to make a seasonal chili with market-fresh ingredients. Yes! Samples will be provided.
Local band Bel and the Bad Wolves will entertain you with bluesy, funky hits from the 60s and 70s. Stick around after Fresh Taste and enjoy a free Summer Concert Series performance from Kokomo Symphony Orchestra who will be performing Live and Let Die, a Paul McCartney tribute.
